Save the Date- Vat Reconciliation Seminar-18th October 2018

This 3 hour seminar aims to discuss the best practice for entering VAT transactions into Paprika to make reconciling VAT easier. A variety of important points will be discussed such as issues that can come up during reconciliation, what mismatches mean, what is Reverse charge and how it is recorded in Paprika. We will be looking at changes to VAT from version 8.1 and learn how to build a view to get the EC sales list in sales Analyser.

Why should you attend this course?

Over time, knowledge of the Paprika system can dilute, especially if you employ new people into the agency who haven't used the system before. This seminar is designed to help you get familiar with how VAT is posted in your data and you can get tips and tricks on how to reconcile your VAT nominal(s) to the reports.

Who should attend the course?

This course is aimed for users who need to run the VAT reconciliation program to submit VAT returns to HRMC. It is an advanced course for the finance users.

  • How to run the VAT reconciliation program and how to unreconciled items if needed
  • Issues that can come up during reconciliation and their corrections
  • Building a nominal analyser view to verify figures

  • Looking at special features such as Reverse Charge, dealing with bad debt, fuel charge

What do I need to bring with me?

All course materials will be provided. This is an interactive group session using purposefully corrupted test data to simulate real-life situations, thus, you don't even need to bring your laptops. At the end of the session you will receive a comprehensive training manual which covers all of the scenarios discussed throughout the duration of the seminar.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided throughout the half-day session.
